Serving counter removal without a kitchen strip-out
Can the front serving counter be removed while the back kitchen remains?
Treat the counter as a boundary between customer space and the kitchen, not as an isolated cabinet by default. It may contain sinks, warming equipment, refrigeration or service routes. The equipment owner and appropriate trades need to identify what leaves before the demolition portion is set.

The owner and equipment provider arrange decommissioning or relocation before surrounding removal.

Mark the operational equipment and services beyond the counter that are outside the scope.
Decide the operating condition during the change
If the owner intends to keep using the back kitchen, the building and operating requirements must be reviewed by the responsible parties. A partial physical removal does not itself establish that food service can continue. Agree the separation, access and system dependencies before release.
Photograph both sides and identify each connected item by location. A sink cut-out or equipment opening may connect the counter to plumbing or other services below the floor.
